The main photo of the magazine has been placed in the centre of the magazine  with the title and the index at the bottom left and top right of the cover . it has been placed to put focus on the people of the photo . there is text on the top third of the cover under the title banner . but it has been places in a free part of the photo keeping the focus on the photo .
The language that is used is informal and is meant to be written directly to the students . but also it meant to be able to inform the reader of what’s going on . this effect lets the reader be able to fully understand what is happening clearly in the magazine .
The dominant colours of the magazine are , red , white and blue keeping to that colour scheme though out the cover . the intended effect of the colour scheme is to make the cover clear and neat . to show it is a professional magazine .
The camera work of the main photo of the cover is a photo looking up from below the people in the photo . the camera work was used to purposely  place free parts on the photo for the info / title / banner .  the camera was also used to show the school in the background to give students recognise the area .  the effect of the photo was to show the happiness on the peoples face and the main focus point of the photo is the girls face . showing a happy and fun environment .
The props that are used is just a ball , which obviously shows immediately shows  that they are playing a game . they are also wearing there kit with vest on . but the way that the photo has been taken shows that the girl is the captain . the setting of the area is on a pitch on at the school shows this in the surrounding of the photo . this gives the audience  the effect that the people in the phot are having fun also showing on the cover that it is a fun and exiting environment .
''Independent school parents''
The font that has been used on this cover is a sans serif which is supposed to be used in a informal way but  the lay out of the cover gives of a formal feeling because it is intended for parents . the text is  mostly caps and white text but has only been placed in the parts of the cover that are dark so it is easy to read .
The  main photo of the cover is on the bottom three quarters of the cover with the title on a banner at the top . the text placed where it would be most visible with the white text . the page details are placed in free white space next to the title . the effect of the layout makes the cover look neat and professional .
The language used on the cover is used as it was written directly to the reader (parents) which gives a friendly and inviting tone . this gives the effect that the magazine is used to advertise and to inform the parents of the school .
The main dominant colours on the picture are white blue and green. This colour scheme is used because they are simple colours and are only used to draw the audience in.
The camera work of the main photo is to focus on the top half of the girl . the girl is looking of the camera or at the girl in the fore ground of the picture . this gives the effect of how friendly the school is showing the friendship between the two girls .
The props that are used in this are that the girls are wearing straw hats  and a blazer , which would be there school uniform . this shows that the standards of the school are high when it comes to uniform . it doesn’t show anything about the scene other than a tree or a bush in the background showing that they are outdoors .
''Collage''
The styles of the font that are used are sans serif . this is used for informal writing but it also shows that the school is modern . the font sizes are big and the colours vary between white and yellow . this effect is intended to give a relaxed and fun tone making the target audience draw in (students )
the main photo of the page in the middle of the page . partially covering the title .which is used to put more focus on the photo . all down the left and right side there are sub headings over the top of the main photo . .

The dominant colours are yellow , white and black . but the pink splodge at the top right is used to stand out from anything showing that is must be read and it will be something interesting .
The camera work that has been used is a medium close up on the man . the photo was taken to show a head on view of him looking directly
at the audience . this gives a more up close and personal feel to the photo .
The only prop that has been used in this photo is the sit that he is wearing but  giving it a smart but casual look to the man . the picture would be taken in a studio with a black background as shown on the photo this shows that the magazine is a professional magazine this makes the magazine look smart and would draw the target audience in .
