Image planning/editing
Editing the image for
the magazine: when I am editing images for my front cover and other
pictures I want to also make the images that I took look sort of similar to the
ones in the magazines that I analysed. In the ones on the ‘’united reggae’’
magazines. They have made the images the images look gritty and it gives a
impression to the audience that someone who is familiar to the subject will
immediately recognize. Which is what I
would like to replicated in my work. They have made there images darker
depending on their background. I would also like to replicate this factor as it
will also define to the audience what genre it is.
Image planning: I want to make the image for the magazine
and the other pages in the same way to other reggae magazine. In the magazines
that I have annotated, the ones from the other magazines that I annotated for
the cover was most of the time portrait. It would be of the model at the
left/right side of the page. Giving information or titles to on the side, So I
would like to replicate this idea onto my own work as most popular magazines
would use this structure.

I wanted to show the audience another side to the reggae genre showing the different elements to the genre and how it is done. The image is intended to convince the audience that he is a professional reggae artist.
