Music magazine: reggae genre research
Genre
I have chosen this genre for my work because I wanted to do a
genre that would not be used in most of the other peoples work in the past. Although
It is hard to find a hard copy of a professional reggae magazine I thought it
would be interesting and a challenge to pick this genre. I have done some research
on the genre and some magazine publishers that release up to date information
on the reggae genre.
target audience
the target audience for my magazine would be from the age
groups of 15+ up. I have done some research into the target audience of the
reggae genre. And what I can see is that
is mainly based on the older person 20+ but most of the sites say 15+. The target
audience would be interested in information about the bands, new music that is
being released and back story’s into the life of the favorite reggae artist in
order to make the product appealing to the audience I would need to replicate
the main color styles of popular magazines.
